Privacy Policy

Berwick Redan, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Berwick," "we," "us").

The short version

We collect nothing. Press has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party software development kits. Your shooting record — scores, sessions, photos, and everything else you enter — lives on your device and, if you enable it, in your own iCloud account. We cannot see it, access it, sell it, or recover it. This is by design. Nothing you do in the App ever touches a Berwick system.

Information we collect

None. Press does not collect, transmit, store, or process any personal information on any system we operate. The App never communicates with any Berwick system, including our website.

Where your data lives

• On your device. All records you create in Press are stored locally in the app's private container.
• In your iCloud (optional). If iCloud is enabled on your device, Press syncs your record to your private iCloud database so it survives device loss or app deletion. This data is stored by Apple under your Apple Account and is governed by Apple's privacy policy. We have no access to it.
• Photos. Target photos you capture or attach are copied into the app's private container on your device. Photos captured with Press's in-app camera are not added to your device photo library. Attaching a photo from your library copies it; your original is untouched.

Sending reports

Press can generate a session report — a PDF of your scores, session details, and target photos — that you may choose to share with an instructor or anyone else. Sharing uses your device's own share methods (Mail, Messages, AirDrop, or any other app you select). The transmission is performed entirely by the app or service you choose and is governed by that service's terms. Reports are never sent through, stored on, or visible to Berwick; no Berwick system is involved in their delivery.

Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment information. Apple provides us only aggregate, anonymized sales figures.

If you contact us

If you email us for support or feedback, we receive your email address and the contents of your message. We use them only to respond to you. We do not add you to any list.

Analytics

We use no analytics. Apple may share aggregate, anonymized statistics (such as download counts and crash reports) from users who have opted into Apple's device analytics. That data is collected by Apple under Apple's terms, is anonymized before we see it, and contains no personal information.

Our website

We maintain an informational website. The App does not connect to it. The website requires no accounts. It uses Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookieless service that gives us aggregate page counts and referrers only — and, during our launch period, Google Analytics, which sets cookies and collects usage data under Google's privacy policy; we use it only for aggregate traffic measurement. Our hosting provider may keep standard web-server access logs for security purposes; we do not use them to identify anyone.

Children

Press is a firearms training record tool intended for adults and lawful firearm users. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If a future feature changes any statement above — for example, an optional cloud-based scoring feature that transmits a target photo for processing — we will update this policy first, and any such feature will be strictly opt-in with plain-language disclosure at the point of use.
